Free initial interview

Free First Interview in Injury Compensation Claims

Potteries Injury Solicitors offer a first interview free for personal injury and clinical negligence cases. In the initial interview we assess whether there is a case or what further steps we need to take to establish a claim.

Most cases are funded by no win no fee arrangements so at the first meeting we will be taking your details such as name and address and confirming your identity, so we would ask that you bring to the first appointment a utility bill confirming your address and photo identification.

We will be asking you about the accident, industrial disease or injuries and how they have affected you in order to decide how the claim is to be dealt with and what the injury claim is likely to be worth.

Sometimes in clinical negligence cases we will need to see the medical records and obtain input from one or more doctors before we can decide if the case is strong enough for a no win no fee agreement. You may have to contribute to the costs of the initial investigation though the first appointment is still likely to be free.

If, however, you require certain focused advice and this can be dealt with in one meeting conclusively, and the advice is all you are likely to need from us then we may render a fee for that appointment. You incur no fee liability without signing our terms of business and we will explain clearly what the fees are likely to be for the work you are asking us to carry out.
